What is planned preventive maintenance (PPM)?
Regular servicing of building equipment, such as air conditioning, boilers, fire alarms and emergency lighting, on a schedule agreed in a contract, so faults are prevented rather than waited for. PPM software plans the visits, records the work and proves it was done.
Can subcontractors do planned visits?
Yes. A plan can name your own engineers or a subcontractor. The subcontractor is offered each visit by link and fills in the same job sheet as your own engineers.
What happens when a contract is due to end?
PPMdesk asks the contractor to price the renewal by link and prepares a renewal quote for the client. When the client accepts, the plans run for another year.
